Tractor Zoom Pro Equipment List User Groups and Standard Naming Conventions

Equipment Lists in Tractor Zoom Pro now include user groups permissions and standardized naming conventions.
These improvements will help increase your efficiency and security, as well as introduce a more streamlined, individualized experience for you and your team.

User Groups

User groups within Equipment Lists enable a Tractor Zoom Pro administrator to establish users into sets of groups within your organization.
Users assigned to specific groups are limited to editing the Equipment Lists associated with their respective group(s). If a user is not part of a group, they can only view and download PDFs related to the Equipment Lists.

Using the User Groups button on the equipment list homepage, administrators can create new user groups and add existing users to those groups. Administrators can tailor these groups based on various criteria such as association, branch, location, or region.

By associating users with specific groups, administrators can control edit-access to the Equipment Lists, ensuring that each user can only edit the lists assigned to their group.

Standard Naming Conventions

With the goal of streamlining the inventory tracking process, a standard naming convention for Equipment Lists has been introduced.
The new naming convention requires Client First Name, Last Name, and Address when creating an Equipment List.

You will be prompted to utilize the standard naming convention any time you create a new Equipment List. Updating pre-existing lists is not required today, but you will be prompted when you update a list.
