We are committed to continuous improvement and innovation that supports our customers. Recently, we implemented changes to the user interface (UI) of Inventory in Tractor Zoom Pro that improves the accessibility and visibility of the data and tools within the platform, making it easier for customers to utilize the features available that help them quickly and accurately value equipment.

In addition, we launched a new feature, Carrying Costs, in the platform to support our dealership partners’ inventory management strategies.

The data table in Inventory now spans the width of the screen. As we’ve integrated new data into Tractor Zoom Pro and built out additional filters that enable customers to be more prescriptive in Inventory, we recognized the need to expand the table’s width to improve accessibility.

The Filter options for the data table are now available in a left panel that pops in when customers are ready to make adjustments to the data. This placement provides more room on screen to expand the data table.

In addition, filter chips display along the top of the table to more clearly indicate what data is included.

Carrying cost is one of the top KPIs for dealerships to manage, especially as expenses associated with holding onto equipment escalate in today’s market.

This new feature helps dealerships optimize their inventory management strategy so they can take action in real time to minimize costs per machine and maximize their gross margin.

The Carrying Costs calculator is complementary to Time on Lot, which helps customers proactively identify and monitor at-risk tractor and combine inventory. Time on Lot predicts the likelihood of an individual tractor or combine being listed for longer than 180 days.

Both features are essential as equipment dealers face average carrying costs ranging from $1,400 to $1,600 per week per million dollars in inventory. Getting to the most profitable decision for a dealership is possible with more knowledge and data, which is provided for in Tractor Zoom Pro.
