The first application of TZ AI, Smart Description, can be found as part of the existing Equipment Search solution in Tractor Zoom Pro. Smart Description harnesses the power of TZ AI to analyze keyword-rich equipment descriptions to identify unique or missing attributes, then translate them into actionable data that directly influence machine values. 

Equipment listing descriptions provide a wealth of information related to the features and condition of equipment. However, the lack of standardization and digitization across descriptions makes it difficult and tedious to search through or review multiple listing descriptions to identify the critical attributes that impact a particular unit’s value.

“Reviewing and documenting all of the components in a description can take upwards of 20 minutes or more,” says Mandsager. “While that may not be terrible for one lot, doing this for more than a few lots at a time isn’t scalable and can equate to a huge investment in your time and resources.”

Smart Description uses Generative AI to process and analyze these complex and incomplete equipment descriptions, identifying the unique attributes that influence machine values across categories, manufacturers, and more. How does this benefit Tractor Zoom Pro users? It helps them confidently value equipment with comps and values informed by 2x more pertinent attributes. With this unmatched accuracy, it also helps users value equipment more efficiently because they can trust in one source of truth to guide their value decisions vs. analyzing equipment comps and auction values across multiple websites or platforms.

Smart Descriptions is currently available in Tractor Zoom Pro for tractors, combines, and planters, with additional equipment categories rolling out in the weeks to come.
